Asian Wild Boar Driven Hunts

According to the season's food conditions we follow the wandering wildboar populations and perform our wildboar driven hunts in different regions of Turkey as Afyon, Kütahya, Kastamonu, Çorum, Sivas which are at a 3-5 hours drive from Ankara airport. Or at the east like Erzurum and Erzincan with a possible overnight in Istanbul due to flight scedules. Please contact us and/or your travel agent for same day flights to hunting regions. Or like south west regions like Muğla and Denizli which can be reached over Izmir or Bodrum airport at the south. All of these regions provide very good wild boar hunting conditions.

As we always express, we have no fenced hunting reserves neither any farm raised game in Turkey like in many countries of Europe. Our game is purely naturaly wild and free ranging. Therefore like in some countries the scores of our driven hunts can never be pre-guessed. Our team always searches the best populated regions and sets the drive locations and conditions accordingly. Natural food conditions may change annualy and therefore we may also hunt different places each year if needed.

Each shooting point in every drive is gestured fixed by our professionals and numbered for the draw. Generally our driven hunt programs are for three hunting days unless otherwise demanded by the hunters and normally 4 drives each day are performed. Our drives are made with approx.15 beaters and packs of hound dogs. Generally we do not allow the beaters to carry guns and they all wear blaze orange vests for easy visibility and security. The beaters also use drums, megaphones and any sound making explosives to spook the boars.

We try our best to make you walk the least. To many posts the hunters are left with the vehicles and picked at the end of each drive. In our drives field of sight is generally quite wide like 50 to 500m. If you want to get the tusker of your dreams in a driven wildboar hunt, Turkey is the right country. Do not expect great scores in our driven wildboar hunts. But quality of game is a priority rather than quantity. But any time you may be shooting at a tusker chased by our good hounds. Shooting distances may vary according to the locations. Mainly forestry and bushy land is covered for the drives with an occasional openings where long range shots may be needed.

HUNTING GROUP: Min.6, Max.15 hunters.

ACCOMMODATION: At town hotels.

METHOD OF HUNTING: In our Wildboar Drives with well trained beaters we always use our hounds. During the drives, transfer of the hunters by vehicle. Normally 4 drives per day are performed. Both rifle and smooth bores may be used.
