SUMMER HOLIDAY WILDBOAR NIGHT HUNT

Wouldn’t you like to have a wonderful summer holiday with your family and/or friends on the Mediterranean sea side at one of the most wellknown holiday resort of Turkey.

We perform our hunts at the Bodrum region, southwest of Turkey 300 km south of Izmir.

With everyday direct flights to the Bodrum airport from various airports of Europe, Bodrum is one of the most visited holiday resorts of Turkey. Airport to Bodrum is only 45 minutes car drive. We accomodate our guests at a nice seaside hotel viewing the town and the ancient castle where they can enjoy a wonderful holiday. This can be a family holiday together with friends.

Our 4 star seaside hotel has a swiming pool as well as it's own beach by the sea. Constant boat rides to the town center is only fifteen minutes crossing the yatch harbour or a few minutes walk will take you to the lively heart of cafés, bars near the marina as well as the shopping center.

This is a 6 night stay trip with 5 moonlit nights hunting for wildboar. The region has a very high population of wildboars.

As in our other regular night hunting program, with this one too, one of our local guides starts two weeks before your arrival for his search for the singular tuskers' feeding fields and taking in to consideration all wind possibilities for your accsess, prepares the waiting places for you. He feeds the certain points to stabilize the boars making them get use to the same point and findout about their arrival time to the food.

When you arrive to Bodrum, there will be about 10 tuskers located for a group of 1-3 hunters. This a trip prefered by many hunters where they find the possibility of a nice summer holiday with their family and/or friends and also hunt the huge Asian Wild Boar tuskers.

Bodrum nights, as they are full of joy and entertainment the days are also long. Apart of your seaside and beach time we can also organize short driven wildboar hunts for a group of 1-3 hunters. Naturally the first priority is the night hunts. But along with these small drives you can have a chance of shooting quite some cartridges for a small extra charge.

AREA: Bodrum region.

HUNTING TIME: End April to Mid October. Every month 12 days at moonlit nights

with large lensed (50-56mm) scopes. Or scopes providing vision at

night enable all month long every night hunting.

HUNTING GROUP: 2- 4 hunters

ACCOMMODATION: A 4 star town hotel by the sea.

METHOD OF HUNTING:Waiting at the the feeding fields of the boars. Or again stalking them at the many places where we feed them weeks before hunters come. While stalking, changes of areas are made by car then on foot. The fields are glassed for the singular tuskers. Each hunter is taken to different areas separately during the hunts. Several boars may be shot each night. While one hunter keeps visiting different feeding places the others wait at feeding points. Hunters exchange their hunting positions every night. We definitely advice a gun scoped with a 50-56mm lens for optumum light absorption for the night shots.
