Asian Wildboar in full-moon, still and stalk hunting

As you can see it in the map, Turkey is a big land with endless deep forests, grand bush country with pastures and mountains where in some places even no human trace can be seen. Due to this and the fact that pork meat is prohibited in our Muslim religion, the population of wildboars is great. The only enemy of our Asian Wildboars are the wolves and the farmers who try to protect their crops during the production months. On the contrary to the European countries, our wildboars have a much greater chance to live and get old. And so it naturally is for the male tuskers. Within the years they surely learn all means of survival. They face many threats while getting old. And this makes them wiser. They become experienced and cautious. What is important is to be wiser than they are, discovering their whereabouts, their bedings and feeding territories. And bringing them out to a shootable situation for our hunter is just the littlle fracture of difference in our professional team.

From the west at the Aegean coasts to the far Eastern Anatolia, from the north at the Black Sea mountains to the Southern Taurus mountains, our ears are every where through the very experienced local guides we have spread throughout the country. Once we get the news, than our professional hunters evaluate the information, most importantly taking in to consideration the access facilities to the hunting grounds. The same day access at arrivals to the airport is of course a priority that we always try to solve. Than if necessary we take the trip to see the situation on the field. This without sticking to repeatedly same hunting grounds enhances us a mobile character. We are flexible to change our working zones when we set our visions to productive wildboar areas.

So as Trofe Hunting Organizations we keep a high trophy standard as well as keep a healthy population to grow old tuskers, by not over hunting any region. Therefore on the contrary to the average wildboar sizes in Europe, our average trophy sizes are 20-25cm with 120 to 250 kg. weights.

There is a mystical flare in the moonlight wildboar hunts. Starting 15 days before the hunters (1-3 hunters) arrival, about 40-45 separate places are fed and checked and hundreds of kilometers are driven every day.Through this operation, we locate the tuskers and their arrival time for the feist. By this way 10-12 tuskers are fixed to the feeding places. Once that we know which points are being visited by the tuskers, our men than prepairs for the shooting points according to possible wind directions. If it will be closing-in point rather than a still waiting point, also the pass ways will be cleaned from dry leaves and branches for the silent close-in, while the tusker will be busy with his fiest.

When the hunters arrive we have ready places separately prepared for each of them. With this non-tiring method, our hunts may be able to shoot at more than one tusker at one night. At the silence of the night, either to see the tusker getting close to you or you closing-in to that huge dark shadow gorging himself unaware of your access and seeing it in your scope with your reticles on him......Believe it that this is the best enjoyable method for getting yourself a good tusker. The hunt generally starts at sun set and longs til about 01.00 o'clock. Than a late hour fun meeting with your fellow hunter friends to hear all about the fine trophies you all shot or the stories of some fine misses awaits for you at the hotel with a few relaxing drinks.
